Why enter the IGD Awards?

The IGD Awards are free to enter and will give you industry-wide recognition, media coverage and the opportunity to network with the big names in the food and grocery industry.

The awards are open to companies of any size. Being shortlisted or winning any of these prestigious awards could give your business a real boost.

Past winners have gained great PR, industry recognition and a real sense of team pride. Plus, you have the opportunity to network with the big names in the food and grocery industry on the night. There really is nothing to lose.

In 2015, Cassandra Stavrou won the IGD Award for Young Entrepreneur of the Year. In this video hear how the process was for her, her reaction to winning and the impact its had on Propercorn.

How it works

The first round of judging will be carried out by IGD’s in-house experts and then a shortlist will be invited to present to or be visited by a panel of expert judges.

The Leading Edge Award is judged separately and includes an online vote by the online Leading Edge community. The Grocer Cup is voted for by the readers of The Grocer via an online poll. The IGD President’s Cup is voted for by the senior management of IGD and the IGD President. The IGD Award for Lifetime Achievement is presented by IGD's board of trustees to someone who has done something remarkable for the industry or for the public at large.
