Since its launch in 2014, the Working on Waste campaign has engaged with nearly 2 million people nationwide, raising employee awareness of household food waste and sharing tips on how to reduce it.
Building on activities, including the roundtable discussions in 2014 and the debate series last year, this summer we hosted five successful Champions of Change events across the UK.
The final stage of the 2016 programme is to connect non-competing companies through two interactive events in September, ultimately creating a Champions Network to build lasting relationships.
Each event focussed on two topics, and featured thought provoking presentations from industry experts…and more!
IGD has developed this toolkit in collaboration with WRAP to ensure that food and grocery industry companies have the information, resources and inspiration needed to raise awareness of household food waste and how it can be reduced amongst their employees.
