IGD Convention 2013

About this event

IGD Convention 2013Powering the Industry

In such a flat economy, companies are forced to ‘jump start’ any momentum by themselves.

Everyone is trying to unlock the elusive secret to growth and a few are succeeding by targeting the right shoppers, meeting a new need, finding a new route to loyalty or benefiting from the ascending sales channels.  Whether we’re retailers, manufacturers or anything else in the supply chain, we’re by no means poles apart.

So far, these have been isolated islands of growth but by building on them and replicating them widely, we have an opportunity to re-energise the whole industry.

Shopper power ... digital power ... brand power ... collaborative power ... the creative power of our people ... We have the raw materials and if we link them all together in the right way and get switched on, we can really create some sparks.

The IGD Convention 2013. Energy, innovation and positive thinking from the leaders of food and grocery.

IGD Convention 2013 New for 2013

  • After many years at the Lancaster London hotel, this year sees the Convention move to a new venue – the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge.  We’re confident this change will enable better networking opportunities and add to the delegate experience.
  • IGD Convention 2013Join us the night before the Convention for our pre-event drinks reception at the Park Plaza Westminster. We know that for many delegates, the Convention is as much about the networking as it is about the content. So,  if you’ll be in London the night before, you can catch up with your peers and extend your network without reducing the number of speakers you hear from at the main event.  Please put the drinks reception in your diary and we’ll be in touch nearer the time with all the details.
  • Watch this space for a host of additional innovations as we look to provide even more value at the industry event of the year.
