We were asked to deliver a workshop for representatives from the European operating companies of a worldwide confectionary company, to identify the areas that the next phase of their logistics strategy should cover.

Their challenge

Our client had just completed a review of its European logistics network review. With  implementation underway, the European logistics team was starting the planning process for the next stage of the business’ forward logistics strategy.

Our solution

We put together a session that identified the economic and industry trends that are likely to shape the environment that their future strategy would have to deal with, and gave examples of how the company’s peers are responding.

The outcome

The participants identified what external and internal challenges the strategy needed to address and what needed to be done at an individual and company level.
