Performance Improvement Programme

We were asked to run an IGD Performance Improvement Programme in Sweden for three retailer/supplier partnerships to increase on-shelf availability. All three teams were successful. Here's how one team benefitted:

Their challenge

Both supplier and retailer wanted to focus on the on-shelf availability of their category at the weekends in the supermarket format to help them develop the tools to increase availability and customer satisfaction.

Our solution

The retailer/supplier teams involved followed the structure and methods of our Performance Improvement Programme.

The outcome

The team’s work during the programme reduced Out-of-Stocks by 50% overall and by 65% on Sundays. The collaborative approach of the programme, with multifunctional teams from both parties, brought retailer and supplier closer together, giving new insights about the trading partner as well as their own company.
